This banana cake was part of the vegan menu that was created for our group reservation, and after wonderful starters and mains, this missed the mark. It was super dry and grainy despite the agave syrup poured over. We were expecting this dish to be warm, as is the traditional "garbanzada," but it was served cold and we were pleasantly surprised. The tender #chickpeas and #potatoes were in a tangy vinaigrette, making it a great summer salad to beat the heat wave. I remember the price being around 9€. Super tasty eggplant parmesean, loaded with layers of breaded eggplant, tomato sauce, and cheese. There were at least three types of vegan cheese, and was dense and filling. This is one of my favorite dishes, whenever I see it on the menu I can't resist! What a yummy dessert!! It was like a carrot cake brownie in density and moistness, and served warm with fresh shredded carrot topping. We asked about this cake while ordering, as we were way to full to try it the last time we were here 😅. Luckily, there was one slice available so they were sweet enough to hold it for us. Whoops!! I dove into this gnocchi before taking the photo 🤣. This homemade gnocchi was so tasty and perfectly al dente. The pesto consisted of basil, rosemary, pine nuts, pistachios, soy yogurt and olive oil. Amazing!! Luca, the owner, stopped by our table afterwards to ask what we thought, as it was a new pesto formulation he had created. This friendly locale has fast become one of our favorite eateries on the island. Just look at that view! 9€ #sinoesveganonoescomida

This is a crisp, dry white wine with a slight bubbly quality, served as the house white wine at this beachside spot. Economical at 15€/bottle, not many are found at this price point anymore. Funny story I was searching for this wine on barnivore and couldn't find it! Then my eyes moved down to the vegan label 🤣.

Tender focaccia sandwich with roasted/sauteéd veggies and vegan sliced cheese served with a side of fries. The flavors in this combo were amazing and blended well perfectly. We ordered it as a starter to split, it could surely be a main course on its own. And how cute is it the mini-pallet it was served on? Three cheers to Diferente Playa Bar! So happy to have been recommended this beachside spot! Very chill atmosphere, friendly staff, waves lapping in the background, and deliciois vegan food!! This pasta dish was absolutely divine! Corkscrew pasta perfectly al dente, with a vegan pesto dressing, along with a variety of roasted veg, olives, and mozzarella cubes. It was super-filling, and a good value at 9,50€. Traditional Canarian wrinkled potatoes, this time with a twist - fresh rosemary! It added a nice subtle flavor to these boiled beauties that were freshly made. The mojo accompaniment was smoky and slightly spicy. The menu has a half-dozen vegan choices, from starters to dessert, as well as a nicely-priced cocktail menu. The price for this starter: 6€ This chill-out style bar is oceanfront, with a black/golden sand beach to enjoy. And the staff are very attentive and sweet. On Sunday evenings they host live music. This is definitely a place we will be repeating often!
