This dish was very disappointing. They’ve got a new tapas menu at Darcy’s westshore and they aren’t nailing it. There were a lot of carrots in this dish but for $8 I would expect that. However, most of them were huge and under cooked, making it really difficult to cut into with the butter knife they provided me.
A smaller portion, with less sugary cheap balsamic drenched all over it, would have been preferred for say $5-6 and then I could have gotten more than two dishes as one does for tapas.
The peas were actually pea shoots which is confusing. I love pea shoots so I didn’t hate this but it is poorly named.
