New menu item at Choice! I consider myself a breakfast burrito connoisseur. And this protein-laden burrito ranks up there with the best of ‘em. 🌯 🤤 Amazing ingredient list: organic tofu scrambled w/ maui onions + peppers, wrapped in a whole grain tortilla, w/ smokey split pea tempeh, organic cheezy quinoa, organic black beans + macadamia nut sour creme. It’s served with tomato salsa. And they say it has a whopping 35 grams of plant protein. #mauivegan

What a hearty meal! ‘Ulu is the Hawaiian name for breadfruit, which is one of the tastiest and healthiest foods on the planet. I ordered my soup with quinoa for an extra two bucks. We’ll worth it! #MauiVegan

It’s Thanks-Living week & the Thanks-Living Kale Salad is back at Choice! This year’s version is a little different than last year’s, with even more cranberries & walnuts. True to its advertising, the salad tastes likes Thanksgiving stuffing. And no turkeys were harmed in this production. Speaking of turkeys, if you make it to Choice, please keep going down Hana Highway to Leilani Farm Sanctuary, where you can hug some loving turkey friends. 🦃 #thanksliving #mauivegan

The original Choice Health Bar in Lahaina was lost to last week’s fire. So, I’m here to support the Choice ‘ohana at its Pa’ia location. And this highly nutritious, highly caffeinated smoothie happens to be my favorite drink on the island. It is a little sad to see this normally bustling restaurant almost empty today. The staff made it clear that they’re grateful for the business. #MauiStrong #MauiVegan

This chili lives up to its menu name: Epic! It’s a huge dish, with loads of spices, beans, quinoa, and veggies. Choice has both indoor and outdoor seating. The summer’s first Saturday was gorgeous on Maui. So, I opted to sit outside to enjoy the sunshine, fresh air, and bohemian Pa’ia’s famous peopl watching. ☀️ #MauiVegan

Hearty and tasty! What more could you ask for in a soup! Choice is a great place for lunch after touring or volunteering at @leilanifarmsanctuary. And Choice probably offers the best soup on the island. #MauiVegan

So much good stuff in one dish! And most important, it’s tasty and satisfying! Look at all these ingredients: Organic curly kale, local cabbage, local bell peppers, local green onions + thai basil in an organic coconut garlic dressing topped with housemade pickled jalepenos, organic turmeric-coco crumble + Maui-grown coconut "bacon" 😋 #mauivegan

I love smoothies! I usually favor fruit or vanilla flavors. But Choice had a special chocolate smoothie today, so I went for it. And I’m glad I did. This beverage has so many healthy and tasty ingredients, including bananas, coconut, and almond butter. #MauiVegan

There is so much in this dish. And it’s all so good! Recommended. I’ll let Choice take it from here: “Our organic black bean + walnut super burger | GF w/ smokey split pea tempeh on a bed of organic basmati golden rice, smothered with organic cashew cheeze, upcountry tomato + housemade pickled jalapeños. A tasty and caffeinated smoothie can meet all of your beverage needs at once. 😀 Choice Health Bar bills this drink as “the coffee smoothie of your dreams!” And that’s truth in advertising. Ingredients: organic cold brew coffee, Maui apple bananas, Peruvian maca root, organic dates, organic warrior plant protein, roasted almond butter, and macadamia nut milk. I used it as fuel for a nice day at the nearby beach. #MauiVegan
