This was pretty good! Instead of the miso soup, I got #edamame (not pictured here). My favorite were the rolls with fake salmon and vegan cheese! Still not a fan of #seaweed 🙃 #veganisnotscary

You’re truly spoiled at Bloom because even what you think is going to be a basic roll gets points for originality. I was expecting an avocado roll with some tempura inside but received crunchy, fried deliciousness. #sushilover

The roll in the back that’s piled high and topped with sauce is the Mr. Crunch. With two types of mushroom, avocado, and tempura, it’s quite the mouthful. Super unique and definitely more on the indulgent side. #sushilover

This was one of the most interesting rolls I’ve ever seen. It’s the one in the middle with the white sauce (wasabi mayo). I’m a sucker for another beet or pistachio and this had both, plus mango, tempura, cucumber, and avocado. I’m actually not a huge wasabi fan so I was worried about the sauce, but it’s a subtle taste. Overall this roll was packed with good stuff that made for an interesting flavour combination and texture. I recommend giving it a try for something truly different! #sushilover

The Paradise roll is pictured on the far right here. I love sundried tomato so I had to try it! It did not disappoint. With the mushrooms and veggies, it packs quite a bit of savoury flavour that’s complemented by a yuzu sauce. #sushilover

The Kamikaze “Salmon” is on the left of the board and was probably my favourite! It has a huge hunk of faux salmon, avocado, tempura, and spicy sauce. I used to love spicy crispy salmon and tuna rolls before going vegan, so this scratched an itch. Of course 5/5 for originality 👌 #sushilover

We paired these with the crispy gyoza and edamame (which I won’t submit a separate review for but it’s somehow better than the edamame I’ve had at most restaurants - highly recommend). The dish comes with four rolls that are perfectly crispy and delicious.

Someone already has these listed as “dumplings” but I want to make sure it’s under the same name as shown on the menu for accuracy! This was a tasty starter with a good amount to be shared between four people (along with other starters). The sauce to gyoza ratio was a little off, but the dish was delicious.
