Vegan Salted Caramel

Really enjoyed this. Smooth, tasty chocolate with gooey salted caramel centre. The proportions of ooze to chocolate are just right & the chocolate itself is a thickish shell around the interior. Particularly love this flavour

My goodness! Succulent melt in the mouth caramel filling. Checking their stance on palm oil they appear to be ethical although I couldn’t get a réponse as to why they didn’t put it as palm oil sustainable on the packaging #vegangill #veganisnotscary

The #saltedcaramel in this chocolate is so decadent and the chocolate is a yummy #hazelnut base which I think balances out really well.

It's that typical artificial taste about foreign chocolate that I'm generally not a fan of. Vegan chocolate remains a difficult one for me, because I have not found any chocolate that genuinely rivals creamy, top-quality Belgian chocolate yet - you can easily tell "something's up". This stuff is just a rather crude sugar explosion in the mouth. However! Considering it's not worse than its non-vegan counterpart, and the salted caramel filling is actually quite good, I do rate it high and suspect most non-vegans will find this just as tasty as their non-vegan favourites. It's not a massive win for me yet, but at least the flavour is just a sugar explosion rather than bland plainness and a weird aftertaste, which I still find in most vegan chocolates I have tried so far.
