Vegan Refried Black Beans

When my husband opened these to make his bean dip for our super bowl party which will only be he and I, they were very dry and hard to get out of the can. Also they have 4 grams of fat, I guess since they are made with avocado oil. Anyway, we haven’t eaten our dip yet as it is still morning so we’ll see. Sorry, I found this product just a little under par or what I expect from refried beans. They were dry. Totally not what I expected. I made a bean dip today and had to add in another can of refried beans. Just didn’t seem like they were supposed to be that way. My bean dip turn out ok though. Gardein crumbles, chili peppers, taco dip with Chao cheese on top and the cheese melted. Instead of using my oven on a summer day, I baked them in my air fryer. Refried beans are a staple in my house! It's nice to have variety so I can choose between classic pinto, or the deeper flavor of black beans. I love Siete's product designs. They always look so pretty and fun. I love these refried beans! They’re a little salty. I wouldn’t have minded a little less but it’s ok. It has less sodium in it than the pinto refried beans. At least I think so. I don’t have the cans in front of me right now. I love eating them in burrito bowls, tacos, dip chips in it, etc. I love seasoning it and sometimes I put mild green hot sauce in it. I have found this at Walmart. It was nearly $3 for one can. I buy it when I can. I highly recommend it.

I like to have these around for a quick burrito or vegan quesadilla. They’re delicious!
