I used these vegan-style cheddar shreds to make a killer patty melt. It’s luxurious, great-tasting comfort food. To get a perfect melt use low heat and more time. This is true of all vegan cheeses. The knee-jerk reaction of not liking it on a first try usually has more to do with not knowing how to cook it. Learn to work with it and it’s as good as any. While vegan products may require new cooking techniques, that’s not a flaw, so I won’t ding them on the point. We simply must learn how to use it.

This is really good shredded cheese, strong flavor! It doesn't melt super easy but it's very tasty and a great value.
Wow!! Was not expecting much from these shreds, even put them back and then grabbed them again, lol. I cannot even convey how pleasantly surprised I was with them. First off, they were good cold, which doesn’t happen much… I then melted some on my squash and could not believe how tasty they were. They are from Aldi, and came with a super affordable price. (Not often I can say that🤗)
Much better than I was expecting. Usually the cheese that I get at Aldi is similar to the cheese at Trader Joe's, not bad, but not great. These cheddar shreds were a pleasant surprise. I will definitely repurchase if possible.
