So disappointed in this frozen meal I got at Jackson’s 😔. This didn’t taste anything like a mac and cheese, which could’ve been forgiven if the flavour of the pasta was good. It tasted like it hadn’t been seasoned at all and the tofu was watery after being defrosted.

Pretty good ready meal for when you’re feeling like Mac and Cheese but don’t feel like making it yourself. Lacking in a bit of flavour but easily rectified. Easy to heat up in the oven. Found at Spar in Sea Point 🌱
This was actually nice. The sauce has a tomato-umami flavour. It’s got the right amount of salt. I cooked this in the oven and some of the surface macaroni got crispy (in a good way), which added an extra dimension of flavour and crunch to the meal. The sauce doesn’t dry out either.

This was quite nice, not as cheesy as I though it would be but still tasty. The tofu wasn’t that great after thawing and was a bit watery Overall still really nice
