Tesco Jackfruit in water

I make so many stews and shepherd's pies with this jackfruit. The trick is so squeeze out all of the water before cooking 🤩 #veganin2020 #dogsofabv

I’m new to cooking with jackfruit, so still getting to grips with it. It has quite a juicy texture and I’ve found it doesn’t soak up flavour as well as I’d like but I’ve been cooking with it straight rather than marinating it so I’ll try that next. Nice that this product is readily available now in the UK!

Here’s my attempt at a Sunday #veganroast using #Bosh as my inspiration. Started off with #Jackfruit in water - to a turkey 🦃 style substitute at the end. Definitely one to try, and Tesco’s brand of Jackfruit is cheap and flavourful.
