Sweet & Sour Stir Fry Sauce

I really enjoy this stirfry #sauce from Blue Dragon. It is made with #ricevinegar, #tomato paste, pineapple, ginger and #paprika extract. The consistency is perfect! It’s very thick and gooey. It sticks to the veggies/mockmeat used in a #stirfry really well. Smooth and pleasant. The taste is great too. It’s not something ground breaking, it tastes like a sweet and sour sauce. Tangy from the vinegar, but it isn’t super sour. Nicely #sweet from the added sugar and fruity sweetness from the #pineapple. It has a tiny hint of #ginger but not a lot. No heat or spice to it so it’s suitable for everybody! The product is #palmoilfree, #glutenfree and #soyfree. Clearly labeled as vegan. The packaging does not seem to be recyclable. 💵~24 NOK at Coop. Their #wok sauces are easily available and go on sale pretty often! I really like it, it’s super easy and makes a #quickandeasy dinner. Would probably work nicely as a dip sauce as well if you like thick dips. Easily available stirfry sauce from Blue Dragon, sometimes on offer. I used to only use 1 packet but find myself using x2 now as just one can be a bit dry for a whole block of tofu. Marked vegan.

Ideal for a lazy stir fry. I did add a chilli, ginger, garlic and soy sauce as I thought the sauce mix was very sweet. With all this and some veg and tofu it made a tasty meal for two

I used to love a sweet and sour from the Chinese. I haven’t had one since being vegan though. This sauce was ok but I’m not doing cartwheels or anything.
