Great for Katsu curry, or would be good with chips/mash with veg etc. Wider and thinner than the Linda ones but they’re still a good option.

Smelt like southern fried chicken but did not taste like it. IT WAS SO FLIPPING DRY. You’d need to D R E N C H it in any kind of sauce for it to not get stuck in your dang THROAT.
#vegantastetest on the Tesco Plant Chef Southern fried fillets made from seasoned soya. £2.50 per pack of two. Each one has 268 cals, 12.8g fat, 14.4g carbs, 5g fibre and a whopping 21.4g of protein per fillet. First things first, don't try and compare it to chicken, it is a soya product, rate it on it's own terms as a Southern fried product. I found it decent but would rate it a 7 as it's not thick enough to get a really good appreciation of the taste and texture. Really impressed with the protein content though, so would likely have them again. I had mine with garlic mayonnaise and would recommend that as a condiment.
These are really good, really enjoyed them. The southern fried flavour is nice, don't think you would tell they're not chicken or it wouldn't matter anyway. We used them for our homemade version of Wagamama Katsu curry. Affordable too.
These were super tasty and easy to cook... filled a sandwich & my tummy ... meant to make chips & salad with them but was too tired... filling tho.
