I see the reviews here are very positive, but I was disappointed. Consistency is ok, melts nicely, but it’s quite flavorless compared to other gouda-flavored vegan cheeses available. Not enjoyable to eat cold either. Would not repurchase.
one of my favorite (and most meltable) vegan cheeses! i love the smoky flavor and how easily it melts. i will admit ive never had dairy smoked gouda, so i cannot speak on how realistic it is in terms of flavor, but i do love the flavor of this vegan cheese. fyh has some of the best melty vegan cheeses, so any purchased from this brand are good options if you’re looking to make a lovely grilled cheese!
This cheese tastes clean and is stinky fresh. I especially enjoy melting it on my morning vegan egg McMuffins. #smokedgouda
This tastes good though it didn't seem very smoky. It melts well and is nice on a burger or quesadilla. It does have a sticky texture that is common in vegan cheeses. I don't like the packaging because you can't reseal it so you either need a container or another baggie to put it in. #ditchdairy #vegancheese
