Made koftas with Herbivore mince.Came out great.I love Herbivore mince and use it for bobotie,meat balls,koftas etc
Looked like mince. Tasted like soy, but I dressed it up with a tomato based (bolognaise) sauce, and it was delish! With leftovers, I fried them in the pan in flat batches to get them crispy again, as it was a bit mushy from the fridge. The heat does the trick. Superb!
I made a Bolognese with it which was good. Stays in block despite cooking (not minced). Beetroot juice makes it look like it’s bleeding (not super appealing) Taste is really strong, and tangy. Difficult to flavor.
