A newer find for me, was not expecting to like this as much as I did, but it’s really tasty, It reminds me of a rotisserie shredded chick’n. Just takes a minute to heat up in the microwave, I bought it for salads for some extra protein, and it is a good addition to it. The texture is good and just a touch of seasoning on it Next time I will make chick’n salad - think will work perfectly for it. Made primarily from wheat gluten and tofu. Great texture, good flavor with a bit of black pepper. Not too salty. 19 g of protein and three servings per container. Makes awesome bbq!! Great for cooked dishes or cold salads. I wish the inner container that is plastic was resealable.
Love these for throwing in a soup or stew. My daughter has a killer crock pot chic’n and dumplings recipe that these are perfect for!
