Finally got around to trying Go’ Vegan’s #mexican pizza! Haven’t had frozen pizza in a long time but I saw @soyflake’s review and had to try it🥳 It has vegan #groundmeat, red onion, yellow and red bell peppers, #tortillachips and their own vegan cheese. I really like the crust, it is thick and gets nicely crisp under the pizza and around the edges. It stays soft on the inside and has lots of air pockets that gives a very nice texture. They weren’t kidding, it really does have a good amount of filling! The #mockmeat is made from #peaprotein. It’s spiced with what tastes like a classic mild #taco spicemix, good flavour but not spicy so it’s something most people would like! The texture of the meat is kind of soft, works great for this #pizza but I think it would be a bit too soft if it was used for most other dishes. The veggies are good, the #bellpeppers are soft and nicely sweet while the #redonion still has a subtle crunch. The tortilla chips are a really great addition, I love the crunch and would have wished that they had put even more of those on! I really love Go’ vegan #cheese, and the fact that it seemed to not have that much of it was one of the things that held me back for a while. Honestly, it doesn’t need a heavy amount of cheese, it feels great as it is. All the ingredients can be tasted and they don’t compete with each other. I ate it with some of their #aioli, but there is a lot of good #tomato sauce on the pizza so it was really yummy without it as well. 💵~80 NOK at Bunnpris. Frozen pizzas are pretty expensive but the price isn’t bad compared to the large non-vegan pizzas on the market. It has #recyclablepackaging and is also #palmoilfree. I really liked it! I would definitely pick it up again and wish more stores had it available #veganpizza #lazyvegan #veganjunkfood #mexicanpizza #frozenpizza
