Pepper Jack Style Slices

CONTAINS COCONUT I was VERY excited to see these cheeze slices at a local grocery store only to be really disappointed. The texture didn’t seem right. The taste was off. Didn’t remind me of the vegan pepper jack cheeze slices I’ve had before. They might have been sitting on the shelf for a while because I went back to the store and the staff said that they were sorry that the rest were thrown out and they’re not reordering them. That being said, it was way better when I melted them and made them into a creamy (slightly gummy but it’s ok) queso. Omg way too spicy! Could barely eat these slices. Won't buy again.

I used this to make a grilled cheese sandwich for lunch and it melted nicely on the pan. The taste was really good- a mild sort of spicy kick- but unfortunately the texture was sticky like so many other vegan cheeses. The bread helped cut back on the stickiness but it was still noticable. Each slice has a lot of fat in it but the slices are on the small and thin side. I had to use three slices to get a nice grilled cheese which adds up calorie wise. The bulk of the calories comes from coconut oil. I found this on sale at Grocery Outlet for a good deal, but I don't think I would pay full price for this. #vegancheese #followyourheart #grilledcheese

It's my first time trying this cheese. It melts well and adds flavor to sandwiches - as demonstrated in my avo melted jack sandwich sprinkled with baby garden greens (arugula and chives). minimal packaging. great price at grocery outlet. #ditchdairy #veganisnotscary

This is one of my favourite vegan brands. This cheese is so good and full of flavour and very similar to the dairy alternative. It comes in handy slices, I use it on sandwiches or melted on vegan burgers and it melts well. I liked the pepper taste. Absolutely recommended.
