Organic Plant Taco Southwest Meatless Crumbles

i was skeptical about these Plant Boss Plant Taco Southwest Meatless Crumbles especially after seeing the dehydrated soy-free curls and then watching them soak in water. i for sure thought there was no way it would turn out remotely like taco m’eat but honestly i’m pleasantly surprised. taste-wise though, it was a miss for me as the flavoring is just way too overpowering for me. 🌮

This was kind of fun and a different change of pace for me. You add water and let it sit for 5 minutes. Then you cook it. I wish I had more pictures. This was over a year ago. I think I honestly thought I was going to buy it again and didn’t. Not because I didn’t like it. It was so good! It’s just expensive and hard to find. The spices and seasonings were just right. I wish I could remember if it was too salty. I can’t recall. The texture was pretty good and meat-like I’d say. I had it on a taco and I also made a taco salad with it. Both were wonderful. It stored well in the refrigerator and reheated pretty nicely. Again, I hope to get this again sometime cause I really did like it.

Super easy and fast to make and it tasted really good. I got it on discount, so I actually had a few days worth of taco crumbles for like $3, which was a nice bonus.

This is good, the texture is a bit spongie but the southwest flavor is good. No soy, high in protein and low carb.
