My sister used this #matcha to make a #yummy matcha #latte! Whisk 1 tsp of matcha powder with about 2tbsp of hot water until the powder is dissolved. Fill a glass with ice, add one cup of plant milk of choice, add in the matcha liquid, then add a splash of vanilla extract 😋 It’s also great for adding to cookies! It smells amazing!! I love the smell of tea! We have not added it to smoothies yet, we’ll have to try it out! It’s only 4 calories per serving (1/2 tsp) and #zerosugar! #plantbased #organic #whole30 #nongmo #glutenfree #greentea #vegan #veganiseasy #veganisnotscary

Matcha is widely known as a powerful energy food because it gives you a steady amount of energy over prolonged periods time in comparison to caffeine from coffee (we've all been through that coffee crash). Culinary grade is a good introduction to matcha with its natural green tea like flavor. I usually like this drink best with vanilla flavored (sweetened) soy milk but that's just me. As it says on the picture, culinary grade matcha is great for baking goods so if you would like to make matcha flavored deserts, give this powder a try! I definitely reccomend buying a bamboo whisk because that's the easiest way to fully break down the tea and make your latte (or any liquid mixture with the powder) smooth. However, if you don't have one, I recommend rolling up your sleeves, get a fork and whisk away in a bowl. Be warned, only use a little bit of water or milk to dissolve it when mixing it (add more later) this is to prevent it spilling all over the place (trust me, I know from experience). If my explanation was to vague, there's always google and youtube!
