#christie #goldenoreo #vegan #veganisnotscary I went to Grocery Outlet a little while ago and was surprised to see these Christie Golden Oreos on sale for $2 apiece. I think the original Oreos are overrated, but these Golden Oreos are much much better. I love these! Maybe it’s my imagination, but I think the cookie wafers are different (better) than the original Oreos (not just their taste and colour). Of course, being cookies, there’s very little nutritional benefit to them. Just 3 cookies have about 1/4 of the daily recommended sugar intake and 10% of your day’s recommended fat intake. I personally have trouble limiting myself to just 3 cookies. The regular price of cookies is outrageous nowadays. But $2 for this family size pack is phenomenal. I would definitely get these again, especially at this price.

Love #oreos, but this is my first time picking up a pack of the #golden ones even though they’ve been around for a long time! Same delicious #cream filling that the original has. Very soft and smooth with a somewhat greasy texture. Mild flavour with a little bit of vanilla and a very sugary-sweet taste that I like. The texture of the #biscuits is the same as the original as well. Crisp and has a very good #crunch without being too hard. Dunks well in milk while also keeping a nice texture. They taste good too, they have a slight buttery taste to them. The #vanilla is nicely flavourful and tasty. Oreo uses RSPO certified palm oil and these #cookies are #nutfree as well. The packaging is not recyclable here. 💵~14 NOK at Normal. That’s a great price, a pack is usually way more expensive at other stores.
