I tried the old recipe and the new recipe, the old recipe was much better despite the soapy aftertaste it sometimes had, which is obviously why they changed the recipe. the new recipe is extremely plain, doesn't have much of a taste at all, and the texture isn't much like camembert at all. quite disappointing.
Very good to have vegan cheese alternatives! But this one’s definitely to be improved in taste, it’s very light and too expensive for it
I Sliced it with some fresh garlic and dried thyme.. Baked it in the oven for 20 mins and was served with caramelised red onions.. I was shocked that it was plant based as it tasted the same as standard camembert, without the cruelty!! Unbelievably gorgeous!!
