Mini Pita

Mini #pita as part of the #greek week selection at #lidl. They are super cute and spongy and thick for being so small. Nutritionally they have a good amount of #protein and are #lowinsaturatedfat and low in sugar. The ingredients consist of #wheatflour, water, #yeast, salt and dextrose - no additives!! I actually made mini-pizzas with them, with tomato sauce, spices, fresh sliced mushroom and Violife shredded mozzarella on top. Followed the heating instructions and voilà! Sfiziose ma niente di eccezionale, c’è troppa mollica per essere una pita

Insomma.. sicuramente scaldati sarebbero meglio, ma mangiati "a temperatura ambiente" sono evitabili..

Scaldata un po' in padella o nel tostapane, è davvero ottima con hummus e verdure

Carime e divertenti ma piuttosto piccole (praticamente è impossibile farcirle!😅)
