Korvmoj Vegetable Hot Dog

My son LOVES the novelty of getting to have an #ikea #hotdog at home 🌭 perfect for a weekend #junkfood treat. Whilst the packaging doesn’t give #airfryer instructions, we just throw them in the air fryer anyway and it always works well! Love that you can actually see and taste the veggies in these, that they cook directly from #frozen, and that you can get the bread rolls from Ikea, too (they also keep really well in the freezer). Super convenient and tasty for a #quickandeasy lunch / dinner / snack that is #kidapproved 👌 (We also like rolling these sausages in puff pastry and baking them in the oven to make ‘sausage rolls’ - another big hit in our house!)

These hot dogs are so flavourful! Good texture as well.

Hot dog a base di cavolo riccio, lenticchie rosse, quinoa, cipolla fritta, proteine di frumento e tante altre cose tra cui anche uno stabilizzante a rischio (E407a) e uno stabilizzante a rischio moderato (E1442). Infatti Yuka = 39/100. Ciò detto, non è un hot dog che vuole imitare quelli di carne nemmeno nell'aspetto perché é fatto di verdure (i pezzettini si vedono) e legumi. Il sapore particolare, non mi ha entusiasmato, e l'ho abbastanza mimetizzato in un wrap con zucchine e tanta senape. Ho cucinato gli hot dog in forno cuocendoli un pó di più di quanto consigliato. Possono essere utili per un barbecue. Come sempre per i prodotti Ikea il prezzo é vantaggioso: una confezione da 10 hot hog ‐ 460 gr. ‐ l'ho pagata 4 euro.

Queste salsiccette di verdure sono gustose e pronte in pochi minuti, inoltre si adattano bene a qualsiasi tipo di cottura (al forno, in padella, in microonde, in friggitrice ad aria). Sono povere di grassi e contengono una buona percentuale di verdure e proteine. La consistenza è sfiziosa, le verdure dentro sono presenti anche in pezzi più grossi e ben visibili. Attenzione però a non farsi ingannare dalla visione di tante verdure, sono comunque cibi processati e contengono diversi additivi, (come si può notare dalla lista degli ingredienti bella lunga) quindi non vanno mangiate con frequenza.

L’hot dog KORVMOJ dell' Ikea è preparato con cavolo riccio, lenticchie, quinoa, cipolla, proteine del grano, carote e spezie.
