Hot & Spicy Burgers

These are 💯 my favourite quorn product! I could pretty much eat these as a snack every day! They have a nice texture and a crispy coating with a bit of a kick. They are much healthier than the non-vegan equivalent too (if you need to convince anyone to try them!). Really good with roasted Mediterranean vegetables in a roll (if you’re being healthy-ish) or even better with vegan mayonnaise or coleslaw in a bun. Also nice chopped up for a faux chicken salad. #nochicken #burger #veganburger #easyvegan

Hot and #spicy are certainly two adjectives that come to mind when trying to describe this #burger #patty thing, but here are some others: dry, insipid, tasteless, rock hard 😖 And I did follow the instructions to the letter, perhaps 18 minutes in a fan oven really is overkill 😔 It even cooked up unevenly, such that the rim/sides were almost completely burned out whereas the slightly depressed centre looked slightly underdone 😐 I ladled some oil into the inner depression on the second go, to no real avail ☹️ You'll find much better #frozen stuff. At least the packaging is #plasticfree

Buoni, molto croccanti, leggermente piccanti e non pesanti.

The burgers are quite thin, making them easy to cook and crispy even in the oven.
