This is far too thick for something that’s trying to imitate #egg 🐣 I really think #veganegg has come a long way in terms of flavour and this does exceptionally well, but again it falls short of my dear beloved https://www.abillion.com/products/loving-hut-vegan-eggs-10044849 🍳 I think this is in part due to its thicker “egg white” — it kind of mutes the flavour of the yolk, made from mung beans 🫘 , pumpkin 🎃, and carrot 🥕, and otherwise really well done.
For 4 pieces at S$10 though, I think #veganeggalternative are still several steps away from competing with omni products in the #poachedegg / #sunnysideup department 🤗
