Healthy and nutritious. Steam them with a splash of vegan butter and Fresh lemon
I really love these edamame beans in the pod. They are in the frozen veg section. I first steam them in the microwave for 3 minutes from frozen. Then I fry them in a little olive oil on high heat with Maldon salt flakes. Usually around 3 mixtures until there is a slight char on the pods. Then I put the pod between my teeth and pull out the actual bean. There is an olive oil, salty delicious flavour that goes on. It’s the ultimate snack or light meal. Packed with protein! A definite must try!
Honestly I found these to not be as good as the ones in the Chinese markets and far more pricey. The texture was also really funny
