Dried Gourmet Mix Mushrooms

My parents got me this for my birthday (a month ago)! They got it from Costco. They said it was only around $20! For all of these dried #mushrooms?! I am still in shock about it. There are easily $80-$100 worth of mushrooms in there!! I have used it in approximately 10 meals so far, but only 1/5th of the package is used up. There are just so many mushrooms in here. Such variety too. I do not like that it is in a plastic box. #deathbyplastic

I love these. Easy to rehydrate and they add such a nice earthy flavour.

This is a staple in our pantry that we get at Costco. You can toss them into so many things. I like to put them in with ramen noodles to make it less pathetic.

A great addition to a veggie soup or vegan omelette!

I found this huge jar of mushrooms at Costco, full of a variety of dried shrooms picked all over Europe and packaged in France. Quite a deal for under $12, but I didn't read the instructions in the store and have put the jar back in the pantry several times after realizing the prep time takes about 45 minutes before you can even start cooking them. I finally committed to trying them this week by making little tarts with Pillsbury Crescent rolls, olive oil, nooch, garlic powder and Mrs Dash seasoning. Of course they were delicious, but I need to learn the trick to adding the filling without the rolls losing their shape in the oven. The ugly ones taste even better because they are stuffed with flavor.
