Cheese Slices

Easy to melt, but I honestly prefer these slices cold! Great to use on a sandwich - I made a chickpea “tuna” salad with veggies and Chao above.

I’m not a fan of vegan cheese period, so I usually just do without, but the taste of this is pretty good! Melted pretty well on a grilled tomato and cheese sandwich! I’ll definitely buy it again in the future.

Chao is my favorite vegan cheese! Excellent with crackers and and on veggie sandwiches, and it melts really nicely on grilled cheese sandwiches too!

I haven't tried a heck of a lot of vegan cheeses but so far this is my favorite. I like making grilled cheeses with it because it melts well.

I love cheese. I always have. It’s my favorite food group. But in a desire to try to move toward a more plant based diet, I have been experimenting with vegan cheese. I started buying these Chao vegan cheese slices from an online “ugly produce” type company during the pandemic. I was surprised that they actually made pretty decent grilled vegan cheese sandwiches. Every once in awhile I get a weird after taste from it, but for the most part it has been tolerable and probably the best vegan cheese I’ve tried.
