Chargrilled Cajun Mini Fillets

i enjoyed this #fakechicken and Roo the cat was also a big fan - so #catapproved i thought i had a foto of her licking the package but can find it. probably chicken approved also if you think about it. i mostly ate it chopped up with papadum and hummus. nice texture and flavor. #fakemeat

Yum, we were pleasantly surprised by these #cajun chicken pieces. The cajun seasoning tastes very similar to the blackened seasoning I’ve had in NOLA. The #chicken texture was realistic enough for me. A bit pricy but a nice item for easy meals. #veganchicken

The smoky flavour is spot on and the seasoning is lovely. I find squeaky bean a bit more on the rubbery side usually, but this one was definitely better.

These taste nice, but I did find I had to cut them down into thin strips before frying them. The Cajun flavouring is nice, and I imagine they’re a good replacement for someone missing this type of thing. Quite expensive though, and the portion size is small. Marked vegan.

Squeaky Bean products were on a 2 for £3 deal at my local Tesco, so I had to get a couple of items. I decided to make a cheese, pastrami, and chargrilled fillet filled croissant for #lunch! I threw the fillets in the oven for 30 seconds before putting them in the sandwich and then oven. They were so tasty.
