It was delicious, great flavour and lovely texture. Made the best Montreal breakfast.

My husband insist that I gave it an exceptionally high score as he LOVED it.

on the other hand was slightly disappointed as it is very expensive. Won’t consider it as an affordable product, also when, at least for me, tasting the slice on its own, feels just like eating #carrot rather than #smoked #salmon.
But tbf I did like it a lot when my husband assembled the bagel, cheese and #vegansmokedsalmon altogether.

Ok, about the packaging. I have an issue with the labeling - just say it's SMOKED CARROTS in big bold fonts and then Simulated Smoked Salmon in smaller text. I would have skipped this completely if I wasn't casually browsing.
Next, $8 for 105 grams. That's $8 Canadian dollars! (no mocking from other currencies please). Sooooo expensive until I googled how to make this and the process is time intensive. Plus, the cause they're supporting makes it worth it. Especially since I saw a flyer ad for salmon, $9/lbs. How the Scooby-snacks are vegan alternatives supposed to compete?
Would I get this again? Yes but only after i try to make it myself. 😊
