Foam candies shaped as little skulls with santa hats, pretty cute.
The pack contains two flavours.
The pink and white one is hallonknäck ( #raspberry and caramel) it has a mild berry flavour with a lot of sweetness, it doesn’t have that classic #caramel flavour in my opinion, it has a bit of a maple syrup/brown sugar vibe and it’s very yummy!
The brown coloured one is julmust. (A Swedish Christmas #soda)
I have not tried that drink before so I cannot tell how close the candy compares, but it doesn’t taste like the #christmas drinks we consume here. It has a mild christmassy spice to it, but also some other type of flavour that I can’t pinpoint, it almost has a bit of a savoury flavour in addition to the sweetness. I’m not sure exactly what that flavour comes from. (Probably hop and/or malt as that is what the drink contains, but I can’t say for sure.)
It is not as soft as some other types of foam candy I have tried. It’s #chewy in a nice way🙂
It also doesn’t get stuck to your teeth as much as Bubs’ gummy #candy if you have tried those.
The product is #palmoilfree and uses #fairtrade sugar.
I have not seen these in grocery stores here, I bought them online for 30 NOK.
It’s a nice holiday treat and I would probably repurchase if they’re available next year as well.
