“3 bears die in the cold on airplane”
This breaks my heart. The article says they were coming from Peru and were going to Indonesia, but they had a stop in Belgium. These bears are often captured in the wild for tricks and circuses. Apparently the airport was closed and they didn’t know that. So they had to wait till the next day to departure again. All humans went to a hotel and the bears stayed in the plane in 3°C, when they’re used to 22°C. 3 of the bears (doesn’t state how many there were in total) unfortunately passed away.
I truly hope humans learn from this so this never ever happens again.

Edit: i just want to add that the news corrected their mistake that it weren’t bears but sloths. They got the species wrong, how hillarious 🙂🙂
