wild mushroom zeppole

I had no idea what zeppole was prior to this so I have nothing to compare it to. It was basically fried dough with some small bits of mushroom. Came with a mayo dill dip.

I could have eaten this entire plate myself. Doughy, salty, savory, with a terrific dipping sauce. Yum yum yum!
