Really good curry chicken cutlet. Got plenty of veg in the curry, delicious flavours, not spicy and the chicken cutlet is also really tasty. Comes with rice and scrambled tofu. I am already looking forward to eating it again! Would recommend. Around 8$
Tried their yong tau foo previously so wanted to try one of their rice dishes this time round. This was really good! Consisting of a fried ‘chicken’ cutlet, tofu scramble and curry vegetables. Served with a bowl of soup on the side. Cutlet was crispy and all the ingredients came together very well. Would order again! Price: $8
Fried battered soy 'chicken' cutlet alongside cabbage, carrot, and long beans, all drenched in curry gravy. 🍗🥕🍛 The cutlet was crunchy and toothsome without a strong mock meat aftertaste; my non-veg friend liked it too. Surprisingly the dish also came with tofu scramble 'egg' (playing peekaboo and hidden in the 1st pic, swipe right ➡️ to see it in the 2nd pic 📸), which I wouldn't have expected from a more Chinese-style eatery, but it tasted pretty good and without an overpowering turmeric aroma! 🍳 Also served with fragrant sesame rice, plus a bowl of tasty soup not pictured. Overall a very hearty dish~ Glad I tried this after seeing a positive review by @skootykoots! 📝 Available exclusively at Kale by Kang Su Midpoint Orchard outlet! I was expecting the same menu as their Adelphi outlet, but pleasantly surprised that it’s not. I really really like their #currynoodles and fried #chickencutlet , so they offered me this alternative. The curry gravy for this was very watery, not what I expected and very different from the noodle version at the other outlet. Generous amount of #cabbage , #carrots and this also came with #tofuscramble which i really like. The #curry was more on d creamy side, not spicy cos it was very watery but tasty enough to pass off as curry. But yes i was comparing it to their curry noodle in Adelphi n this was nowhere near that taste profile. Their #chickencutlet was fried to perfection. Served with a side soup as well.
