Holy beans this is a fantastic dish!! The optional balsamic vinaigrette on this burger bowl is so tasty! It has just the right amount of tartness and has a very balanced sweet and sour flavor to it. There is the option of kale or spinach for the salad. I asked them to make it half and half. You can also add cucumber and carrot to the salad at no charge, and/for a slight added charge, various seeds, microgreens or apple. If you are not a fan of balsamic vinaigrette, there is also an option for their signature burger sauce dressing.
The star burger from this dish is really hearty. I found it to be quite soft, but it still manages to hold its shape. Predominant flavors are the black beans and spices (very mildly spicy) and notes of sweet potato and corn. With the gluten free oats and quinoa, this makes for a really filling and happy-tummy meal.
I was initially surprised at how much it cost - $11.99 plus tax - but after heartily enjoying this meal, I would definitely recommend this dish. It is now one of my favorites from their food item menu.
