Vegan Buffalo Melt

I LOVE this sandwich. The soy curls are big and meaty, vegan ranch is tasty….but the bread is the star of the show. I used to order this one before I was vegan if that gives you an idea of how great this sandwich is. Big props to 1111 for having an array of vegan options.

Really good but suuuuper messy. I expected this to be more of a pressed/toasted melt but it was more like a hoagie. The bread was very soft and fresh, and the whole thing had a great classic buffalo flavor. The soy curls really resembled chicken but were slightly chewy. They were a bit heavy-handed with the sauce and it ended up being one big sloppy mess. I would get this again but ask to go light on the sauce next time. The buffalo melt is buffalo soy curls, vegan ranch, melted chap cheese, lettuce and tomato on a French hoagie. It comes with a pickle and a side of chips. I could eat this sandwich every day. The flavors are perfectly tangy and hit the spot if you’re looking to fill a hearty junk food craving. Yum!
