Veg Quesadillas

Quesadilla messicana ripiena con carote, piselli, fagioli, formaggio veg, tofu fritto, salsa piccante… e probabilmente qualche altra verdura. Buono, piccante, insolito e sorprendente. Locale — nel quartiere di mercato, bancarelle, street food — con grande attenzione al vegano e tante opzioni tra cui scegliere in cucina messicana, orientale, tailandese e internazionale.

I had been craving quesadillas for some time and thought I should try here. I was skeptical as this is a multi cuisine place offering 🇮🇳Indian, oriental, 🇺🇸American, 🇲🇽Mexican, and 🇳🇱Caribbean. Anyway these quesadillas were very different than any I had ever had before. They had cheese inside but it was still in shreds. Choosing the veg option I ended up with 🥕carrot, 🌽corn, and 🫛peas with onions 🧅and mixed 🫑peppers in a tomato 🍅salsa with pomegranate on top for garnish. It was ok but nothing like what I had been dreaming of like what @agreene428 posted recently. Maybe I should have tried one of the other versions with tofu or ‘meat.’ It might have been more similar to my expectations. It was pretty cheap though. This place is right in Camden market so it’s bustling.
