This rice bowl is just like the bao, but on rice instead of in a bun! The tofu is juicy and soft in the middle, crispy on the edges coated in this sweet sticky sauce. The relish is super tart and salty and delicious. I added some Lao gan Ma and it was a bomb dinner!
I already knew I loved their tofu bao so I decided to give the rice bowl a try. The tofu in this is absolutely dreamy - fluffy and perfectly sauced. There’s a ton of broken jasmine rice in this so it lasted me two meals. If you try Gongfu Bao, know that the tofu bao bun is legendary - but if you’re in the mood for a bowl, this is excellent! #ottawa
