Tan Tan Ramen

I appreciate the return to normalcy, knowing that we have better #dandanmian in SEA 💆‍♀️ This, in spite of this restaurant having won several awards 🤭 This #sesame flavour was not #gao enough to the point it would blend with the #chillioil as you’d expect from something like this. In fact, it was a little too #salty and while not bland lacked anything reaching any high notes 🎶 The #mince they used had a weird #fish aftertaste, specifically #tuna 🐟 It did not feel quite right. That said, all other components were perfect because I especially enjoyed the bits of leek and what felt like cabbage in it 😋 The staff at the restaurant were speaking Vietnamese so this is quite an intriguing space. In spite of my remarks about it it’s still an overall perfectly good #ramen and I’m just a little stuck up 😛 This was €13,50 for a huge serving. You can easily split this and an appetiser with two if you feel like it.
