Fresh vegetables are best stir fried lightly with minimal seasoning. This is done with slightly charred ginger juliennes and soy sauce. Perfect on its own or with rice. This is a real vegan dish. I love this!
Kai Lan is the Cantonese name for Chinese broccoli or Chinese kale. Its mandarin name is Jie Lan. It is a leaf vegetable with thick, flat, glossy blue-green leaves with thick stems, and florets similar to broccoli.
