Stir Fried Mushrooms

Here’s another dish from my dinner with work mates. The taste was nice, I liked the crunchy texture of the cashews, but the texture of the mushrooms was a little off putting. However, I think I am a bit picky when it comes to textures.

This dish is a star. If you're ever lost as to what to order, YOU WILL NOT REGRET THIS UMAMI GOODNESS. This is a dish I'll give 10* and will order over and over again. But be prepared that this is not the most healthy dish as it is coated with alot of oil, that gives this dish it's delicious taste. I always ordered this dish from Chinese restaurants and this one definitely tops the list. Chengdu nails this dish and hits all the spots 100% right!

These were decent, stir fried mushrooms so there was nothing to write home about. They are good as a side dish but there’s other stuff here which is much tastier (like fried potatoes... 🤤)

As you can see we devoured the mapo tofu way before the mushrooms came out 💪🏽🤣 but man these shrooms are freakin delicious. Served with giant chunks of garlic and 🌶 peppers you’re gonna absolutely love these!
