Seitan Wings

So perfectly crunchy! I can't remember which sauce we got but it was delicious

I’ve had good seitan and bad seitan. I’ve had good vegan wings and bad ones. Most of the time the good ones are cauliflower which is well and good but lacks protein. Enter the seitan wings from Rise Above. The seitan is the perfect texture, not too dense and not too spongy. They have a crispy coating that I can’t figure out how to replicate. And the sauce! I get maple garlic and it’s the perfect balance of sweet and garlicky. At $20/pop (for the large) these are a once in a while treat but my bf and I must have these if we ever find ourselves in downtown St Catharines. Definitely worth it considering I can’t figure out how to make them at home. Oh let’s not forget the blue cheese dip they come with. These wings are AWESOME!! The texture is 👌👌 and the portion size was perfect for our family of 3 as a starter. We had the classic BBQ sauce which was really nice. I am excited to return and try the other flavours. #veganisnotscary

Loved these! Great texture, firm on the inside and a little crispy on the outside, tossed in the Sriracha Lime sauce which was spicy and delicious and served with vegan ranch dip.
