Sardou

This is a rich hearty scramble. Lots of sauce and fried potatoes on the side. Delicious.

This is a takeout photo, but I’ve also ordered the Sardou at the restaurant, where the presentation is much better. The flavors in this breakfast dish are phenomenal! I could drink the creamed spinach and almond sauce by itself. The dish is very rich, but the grilled artichokes help break that up. Definitely my #1 brunch choice from City ‘o City.

I’d never had sardou before trying the vegan version of City O City’s, but what a treat! I got mine with tofu instead of eggs and it was incredible. The “creamed” spinach was super flavorful and complimented the grilled artichokes and crispy potatoes nicely. Love everything from City O City, but just happened to have a photo of this dish on my phone from last year. If you order this to-go, rest assured they package the creamed spinach separately so it’s not soggy.
