Sambal Petai Fried Rice

Wish they didn't put long beans but glad the carrots are raw. Lots of petai so its impressive

This dish was flavourful and smells fragrant. The ambience is also lovely with instrumental jazz playing. I thought the portion would be bigger given that it's $8 though. I think the service could be better because the menu was only at the counter so I had to stand at the counter. Yet, the staff kept trying to sell me their most expensive dish when I was trying to look at the menu. Even after I decided, I was asked if I wanted different drinks 3 times. I'm not fond of the slight hard sell. I still think the food tastes great and so my rating is purely on the food. But hopefully if you visit them, your experience would be different.

It was delicious and it had the right amount of wok hei! Not too spicy at all, if you were wondering.

This was a special on the day we visited and it's a winner! Really fragrant, flavourful fried rice with a hint of sambal. Not too spicy. Delicious and would have happily ordered/eaten more! #veganin2020
