Roasted Chicken Rice

Standard vegetarian chicken rice with some bok choy. Did they forget to add vegetable like tomato and cucumber slices? This costs $6.80 afterall, need to add more colours!

still my mum’s favourite dish here and she gets it no matter what. fragrant rice with nice crispy beancurd skin rolls as the chicken! but not like chicken tho of course

soy skin was nice and crispy, rice could be more fragrant, portion was just nice too

Dish is not always available as it's often sold out. Glad I could try it today. Rice is fragrant, beancurd rolls are crispy and flavourful. Chilli is spicy and yummy too.

$6.90 also I think? can’t remember but most rice dishes are around that price. my mum orders this whenever we come here without fail! it tastes nothing like actual chicken rice tbh, from the rice (which had a more sesame oil flavor) to the “chicken”, which was merely beancurd skin. a comforting dish with nicely cooked veggies and soft beancurd skin, nothing too special! #veganisnotscary
