Red Velvet Cupcake with Almond-Orange cream

This cupcake has a really distinct flavour. Not your typical red velvet cupcake, which I personally find really bland and boring. To me a red velvet cupcake is nothing but a pretty-looking cake that lacks flavour.. But this one at Chöc really took me by surprise - that almond-orange cream packed a whole punch of flavour that I wasn't expecting. It had floral, citrus notes and I enjoyed it. Be warned though - too much sugar!!
