Puri Saagu

This is one for the #sweetdreamsaremadeofgrease crowd! The #puri had quite a bit of oil to it; I’m not sure if that’s a result of us having a #veganized version or if it just is as is! It was served with a #potato #curry and gosh I’m getting sick of even mentioning it.. a #chutney 🧪 As you can imagine, we couldn’t finish all the dips and sides they gave us, but gosh did we ever get close! I just want to get this out of the way though, I’m so sick of flatbreads after this one night 🙈 Give me rice or noodles any day of the week! So in spite of how *objectively* good this was, I didn’t enjoy it too much. The greasiness was too much after a while. This for a single meal though? At S$6? Awesome, delicious.

Best tiffin on a rainy day!! Fluffy, crispy puris with potato saagu!! Tastes amazing 😋 $7 for two puris.

Fluffly and crisp puris that become soft as time goes by. 2 per dish, served with a side of saagu which is a potato onion mild gravy. This was not too oily and was palatable. The customer service, on the other hand, was horrible. This has happened time and again so expect very low quality sevice for a relatively high price. Also, if visiting during peak hours, expect a very noisy atmosphere while being prohibited from entering the peaceful adjacent hall which could easily hold the lunch crowd. Will probably never visit again #crf
