Pumpkin Seed Pesto Penne Pasta

I was hoping for more of a pumpkin taste with this pasta, it feels like the only thing pumpkin-y about it is the pumpkin seeds, which add a really nice crunch! Overall it’s good but it reminds me more of a mac and cheese. It was also a touch more salty than I would have liked.
