Pumpkin Chocolate Cake

Liked this way more than I thought I would! I’ve never actually had pumpkin in a cake so I wasn’t sure what to expect especially in combination with chocolate, but it was almost like a more denser version of a chiffon cake with a subtle tartness and sweetness that I really enjoyed 😊 would happily have this again

A great cake, the sponge is moist because of the pumpkin but the flavour is quite neutral. The chocolate topping is rich and sticky sweet 😋
