Pasta Carbonara

Amazing! Probably the best vegan carbonara I’ve ever had. Very creamy and filling, good portion size. It was quite pricy, about $27, but I would get it again. Pura vita is a fully vegan restaurant.

This was very good, but I wouldn’t call it a carbonara sauce. It was cheesy and oily, and had a great flavor. The shiitake “bacon” mushrooms were great, but they tasted more like caramelized mushrooms than bacon. For the price they should add some vegan chicken or something additional.
