NEXT Karubi Don

I love this! It’s grilled boneless ‘short ribs’ with Aburi-en’s special sauce. The right amount of char and flavour, and with the fluffy premium Japanese rice, makes every bite a hearty one #nextmeats

It was a lil salty and heavy on the soya sauce. Shrooms were good though. Preferred my colleague’s stamina don. Apparently the same type of mock meat was used but cooked differently. The mock meat in the stamina don was a lot more tender. I may get that in future instead.

I enjoyed this! A classic dish, it's not in their normal menu so remember to ask :) comes with miso soup

Meat texture is interesting and different from the usual chinese/western meats. It is very very well seasoned! generous portion and worth a try!
